Let's begin by posting something I could have shared last week. I made a silly gender-bent version of Reizer and Seiber. Based on an inside joke between my friends and I. Really like the jacket look.
Also, over the weekend, May 4th, as now officially dubbed: Star Wars Day. Because just like how March 10th is Mario Day, May 4th is alternatively known as "May the 4th Be With You"
A play on the date and the word "force", a term used to describe the mystical energy in Star Wars. Eagle-eyed fans would recognize this pose as one of Obi-Wan's fighting stances.
Lastly, it's a common trend for artists to do Golden Week artwork... even if they're not residents in Japan. I mean hey, the more, the merrier... right? I guess us gaijin looked at that trend, and thought: That looks like fun. So, have an image of the two gals in some gold-colored swimwear.
Trivia Fact: Gaijin is the Japanese word for "Foreigner". It is a combination of two words "Gai" and "Jin". Gai means "outsider", while Jin means "person". Combine that, and you have "outsider person", which is what a foreigner is.
Kanji: 外人
Hiragana: がいじん
Romaji: Gaijin
Bonus Fact: Romaji is the romanization of Japanese words and names. Example: Nintendo. The logo itself is an example of being written in Romaji.
